When you're acting, you're a person. When you're modeling, you're a hanger.
There's a lot of things I nerd out over. Quantum Mechanics. I also love Dungeons and Dragons. I want to be an astronaut.
I'm not a fighter. If there's something going on that I really feel strongly about, I'll certainly stand up but I pick my battles...
Stay simple and true to your gut. If you feel uncomfortable in something, no matter how fashion-forward it is, it's going to look funny. At the end of the day, I don't think it really matters what you're wearing, because if you shine through in that confidence, you really can convince anybody that what you're wearing is great...as long as it doesn't have too many sparkles!
I actually loved to dress like a boy, and I still kind of do and try to sneak boy's pieces into my wardrobe. I have Levi's boot cut jeans that actually might be from the boy's department, but I love them. Those jeans and flannel are my favorites. If I could choose anything to wear for the rest of my life, I'd just want a boy's outfit.
My favorite band is probably The Cure. We can throw Talking Heads in there too, I listen to them a lot. But The Cure.
I dont really believe in regret or mistakes. I try to take everything as it is, be comfortable with myself.
I kind of do this awkward body language because, growing up, I had a really hard time expressing myself vocally.
I went to USC for writing. I was judgmental of actors and their Starbucks and fancy cars.
I always carry around a giant makeup case with about fifteen items in it. I so want to be the girl who just carries lipstick as if that's all I need, but I'm just not that girl. I need my lipstick, but then, just in case my cheeks start to lose their color, I need my blush. Then I'll need my oil pads...so I just take the whole thing. And now I need a full on fashionable backpack for it all!
I have an older sister and my mom would dress us up identically, so in all of our pictures, we're in these giant pink, poufy outfits. I remember when I was four or five, we all went to a theme park and I had to go to the bathroom but couldn't hold it in anymore. Let's just say, I had to buy a brand new outfit! But that moment was the first time I remember ever wearing something different from my sister at an event. It was my breakthrough moment when I decided I was never going to match my sister again!
I would love someone to follow me around with a boom box so I could have a soundtrack to record my daily moments. That would be awesome! I also wouldn't complain if I had someone doing my hair - I have a hard time with my hair.
To me, it's a little odd to ever think 'model into actor.' I modeled once. I was about as far from a decent model as you can possibly be. I did not enjoy the world at all. I fell in my stilettos quite a bit.
I'm a big music person. I compare a lot of my emotions to how something sounds.
I dress like a boy most of the time because I like what's comfortable, so sometimes when I have to wear dresses and makeup, it's kind of comedic.
I moved to L.A. to write and direct. I had no intentions of being in front of the camera.
The life of a working model in L.A. kind of sucks.
