We're never trying to manipulate and mess with... When you finish the movie, you hope you did a good job but you never know.
You put the movie out and then it's up to you guys to go oh that was good.
It's terrifying to show incomplete footage.
I think the only thing that we know how to do is look at our characters and ask what is the character doing right now and what do we need to do, and tell it from that place. If we really make it character driven and theme driven, I think we're going to offer up something new for the audience.
The audience rejects the movies when it feels a little bit more of the same.
