I wanted to be a broadcaster, sportscaster, or gameshow host from a very early age. I did my first broadcasting when I was 10 or 11 - into a tape recorder for my brother's football game, and for local events. A local radio station was experimenting with high school disc jockeys for rock and roll shifts - I applied - and got the job.
It's a great feeling to be a part of something - see it from beginning to end - and it's a rare thing that anyone gets to do in any business.
Stage acting is a very difficult thing - and I've learned a lot and have a long way to go.
My best piece of advice is to do something you're passionate about. If you do - you'll do it well - and the money follows.
I've had a great career in sports broadcasting - but I'm interested in lots of things. I like to write, I like to produce video projects, and I love to appear on stage.
Teaching is another area I like to explore. I've had a lot of great role models and people who have taken the time over the years to help me - and the wheel turns.
