The effects of abuse are devastating and far-reaching. Domestic violence speaks many languages, has many colours and lives in many different communities.
Thanks to the FedDev Ontario funding we were able to get a number of key initiatives underway to mitigate the potential negative economic impact of the Heinz closure. With this additional funding we will continue to be in high gear within the food processing sector to continue with business retention, expansion and attraction activities in the Windsor-Essex region.
I’m pleased to see the progress made on the Windsor Regional Hospital project. This is an important project for our community in terms of the stimulus it is providing to the local economy and the vital role the new facility will play in providing state-of-the-art health care and treatment to Windsor residents.
