I'm angry because homophobia is still a thing.
There is no such thing as homophobia. It is not a fear. It is you being an asshole.
Homophobia is just that: a phobia.
Well, fear and homophobia are both pervasive.
The Bahamas is a small population. But it plays a lot bigger than the population suggests. You feel close to everything. Everything that happens in the wider world happens here. Like migration issues. Or refugee issues. Or homophobia.
There are more scriptural reasons to oppose homophobia than to oppose homosexuality.
Homophobia whether internalized or externalized is really fear; it's not hatred, it's fear. It's fear of the truth about ourselves.
