My dad treated me like a boy because he grew up with four brothers. He didn't baby me. He was never, like, "You're a girl, you can't do this." I never felt like I had to put a feminine spin on anything, I just wanted to do what the boys did as good or better.
You have to find the line between working hard and being a workaholic. I know a lot of those bigger-name guys are workaholics, and I don't know if I want to go that far. One day I would like to have a relationship and a normal social life, so it's all about striking that balance.
You learn that you can never not work. If you really want to make it to the big leagues, there's no such thing as "I'll start this first thing Monday" - you gotta do it now.
