I won't quit skating until I am physically unable.
Roller-skating and ice-skating are two different things - I found that out the hard way.

Vert skating was the kind of skating that was done in pools, where you could get airborne and be weightless. The other style, which is what I did, was called free style, which was tricks you could do on flat ground.
And so figure skating was a great vehicle for me to kind of be competitive at something, without having to be big.

Half of figure skating is opinion, convincing judges.
Ice dance should not be seen as a rigid conformist form of figure skating. There is a great deal of freedom and originality to be had.
