I'm representing the people of the United States and I'm going to represent them as somebody should represent them, not how they've been represented in the past where we lose to every single country.
I want to make the United States great again. This country is a hell-hole. We are going down fast and I'm a conservative but I have a big heart. I will take care of people, but a lot of people want me to run, and we'll see what happens.
Americans cannot be the policemen of the world. We cannot protect countries all over the world.
Japan, Germany, South Korea, these are very rich, powerful countries. Saudi Arabia, nothing but money. We Americans protect Saudi Arabia. Why aren't they paying?
I am going to bring back our jobs to Ohio and Pennsylvania and New York and Michigan and all of America. And I am not going to let companies move to other countries, firing their employees along the way without consequence. Not going to happen anymore.
America is a great country. This is a great land.
We pay so much more for the same pill, prescription drugs than other countries. You go to Canada - people go to Canada to buy prescriptions. So we're subsidizing the world in terms of prescription drugs. It's ridiculous. And it's going to stop. The problem I have is these companies give so much - I mean the contributions are massive, just massive, the amount. But we do have - there are a lot of good people that are seeing what's going on. And I think we'll be successful in that. Next week, I'm going to declaring an emergency, national emergency on drugs.
I'm fighting for real change, not just partisan change where everybody else gets rich but you. I'm fighting all of us across the country are fighting for peaceful regime change in our own country. The media donor political complex that's bled this country dry has to be replaced with a new government of, by, and for the people.
This region [North Carolina] used to be the furniture manufacturing hub of the world. I know because I bought plenty. But the NAFTA deal and then China's entry into the World Trade Organization, another Bill[Clinton] and Hillary[Clinton] backed disaster, have sent those jobs to other countries.
You land at LaGuardia, you land at Kennedy, you land at LAX, you land at Newark, and you come in from Dubai and Qatar and you see these incredible - you come in from China, you see these incredible airports, and you land - we've become a third world country.
I take [all slings and arrows] for our movement so that we can have our country back.
We pay billions - hundreds of billions of dollars to supporting other countries that are in theory wealthier than we are.
Americans know that a strong alliance of free, sovereign and independent nations is the best defense for our freedoms and for our interests. That is why my administration has demanded that all members of NATO finally meet their full and fair financial obligation. As a result of this insistence, billions of dollars more have begun to pour into NATO. In fact, people are shocked. But billions and billions of dollars more coming in from countries that, in my opinion, would not have been paying so quickly.
I don't think you can represent the country properly if you're not a healthy person.
We are a country of laws.
We need loyal people in this country. We need fighters in this country. We don't need weak people. We have enough of them.
One of the really powerful things that's going on in this country right now in 2017 is watching attorney generals like Eric Schneiderman in New York and Maura Healey in Massachusetts take on the oil companies that systematically have lied. Exxon is mainly in the crosshairs right now. That have systematically lied for a quarter century.
The world's going to respect us again and they don't now. A lot of that has to do with the leader. And a lot of it has to do with leadership. But our country is going to be respected again and we are going to make America great again.
This is a movement like nobody's ever seen in this country before. Even our enemies admit that. We're going to make history together.
I will make individual deals with individuals countries. No longer will we enter into these massive transactions with many countries that are thousands of pages long and which no one from America even reads or understands.
I have gone to all over the country and I've met so many veterans and I have tremendous veteran support.
Ted [Cruz], you support legalizing people who are in this country illegally. Ted Cruz supported a 500 percent increase in the number of H1B visas to guest workers that are allowed into this country. And Ted supports doubling the number of green cards.
I don't care about the brand. I care about the country.
I think that we are not in the position that we used to be. I think we were a very powerful, very wealthy country. And we're a poor country now. We're a debtor nation.
You see where the fighter jets are so old that they can't get parts anymore. They have to go to plane - airplane graveyards and museums to get parts for our fighter jets that we're currently using. They don't make the parts. And you have other countries that have brand new equipment. And in some cases, we sell them the equipment. The whole thing is ridiculous.
