I don't have any blindness when it comes to my money. As an actor, you can get distracted by your work. I do keep an eye on my nest egg, if you will.
Actors are such an insecure breed.
I think actors become jacks-of-all-trades and masters of none.
It's all about whatever enriches you. If you decide to go the domestic route and get married and all those things, it makes you a better actor.
Actors didn't use to be celebrities. A hundred years ago, they put the theaters next to the brothels.
The whole point of being an actor is to get satisfaction out of a role -- unless you're just vain about celebrity. You're always looking for the one thing that will surprise you.
If it's well written and well directed and you've got good actors to work with, acting is easy. But making sure all the ducks are in a row is the hard part. It's very rare

Nowadays, in the contract that actors sign, you have to agree that you're going to do a certain amount of publicity-the hard part they don't pay you for.
I'd say that the No. 1 attribute you need as an actor is to be malleable. You need to be able to change and tailor what you're doing to what the situation dictates.
When you look at some of the most respected actors there are and the crap that they're in... it didn't used to be that way.

One of the great things about being an actor is that you have a completely different challenge every few months.
When I was a young actor, I just didn’t understand how to function in this business as an artist. It is a business, it’s called the film business for a reason, there’s money involved ... But on the flip side, now I do not let the business side of it rule either. It’s a balance.
