Knowledge is not power; Implementation is power
Implementation is the sincerest form of flattery.
Vision without implementation is counterproductive.
Implementation beats oration.
Better to be right about the trend and wrong about the implementation, than the other way around.
The Wesnoth devs are good but not exceptionally so, and we're weighed down by a crappy implementation language (C++). Nevertheless our productivity, in terms of goals achieved per hour of work, is quite high.
