The ego holds us to this world. The ego is the feeling that you are. But you are not, nor have you ever been, nor will you ever be.
The whole objective universe is created, ordered, by our perception and by our sense of self.
If we really reflect and discriminate, we'll find that all things are created by our perception, that all states exist within the mind.
What is there? No one can say -because there is no one there to say.
There is no place to go and no one to be.
There is nothing but eternity. Eternity has always been and will always be.
To deal with someone from other infinites is problematic at times, to deal with a true master of all the realms of the yogas. We call them someone with the seven seals of enlightenment, meaning that their gradated perception has past through all the realms.
If you meditate and continue to have fun with yoga and Buddhism, you will amass knowledge and will move to a higher incarnation. In your next lifetime you will be much wiser, much happier.
In Buddhist Yoga, we refer to our mutlilife karmic traits as samskaras. They are the internal karmic patterns that make each of us who we are.
Intentional suffering and the postponement of happiness is not yoga or Buddhism. It will not lead to a better incarnation.
Where do these images comes from and where do they return? What is it that projects these images? How is it that we are the screen? How is it that we have forgotten that we are the Self and that nothing but the Self exists?
When we erase perception, then we erase that which perceives perception. The universe dissolves and we see that it was never real to begin with.
You cannot be born and you cannot die because you don't even exist ... in the sense that you think of existence.
You need to accept the fact that you will often do exactly the opposite of what you think is right. You need to accept that you're going to do that and still love yourself.
You can enjoy the ideas of salvation, as long as you realize that there's no one to be saved.
Eternity is selfless giving. Eternity sends forth all of the worlds, the very fabric of existence.
Eternity does nothing but give.
I've always kept fit but I've been doing gym and yoga and will be throwing my stilettoes away for a while!
My yoga practice was and will always be a spiritual experience. I can honestly say, "Yoga delivered me back to GOD!"
I spent two years in Palo Alto - what an awful, suffocating place for those of us who don't care about yoga, yogurts and start-ups - and now I have moved to Cambridge, MA - which, in many respects, is like Palo Alto but a bit snarkier.
I have no agenda. I know what I love to do and that's my religion. That's what I recommend to everybody. I did not invent that very ancient idea: "Do what you love and you will never work in your life." It's the pure truth. I think it's also the goal of human existence to accumulate as much of that feeling as possible. You can find that concept in anywhere from yoga to Bible.
I do love exercise. I do love yoga, which keeps my body nice and healthy.
Especially in New York, where things are quite chaotic, I work out to stay grounded. Having that time, whether I'm running or doing yoga I get to challenge myself by creating mini goals and have little personal victories.
I work out twice a day, once in the morning and once before bed. I'll start with half an hour of running and then some yoga to stretch everything out so everything is warm.
Yoga is a big part of my destressing. Even sitting on the floor for 10 minutes to center myself, stretch and relax can be a huge game changer.
