In our society, in our culture, we love to build people up. We love to build the pedestal, and we love to put 'em up there on it, and then we can't wait for the day they fall off of it.
I've always said, "I love the women's movement, especially when walking behind it." And I have never understood why it is that people - you know, I hate liberalism. I'm totally opposed to liberalism. I do not like that at all.

There's a lot of women that wanted no part of this feminist movement way back in the late sixties. The modern era can be traced back to then. See, that's the thing. They portray it as though something every woman in America is part of and believes in. And it's not.
I don't even think people are even making an effort to understand Trump. I'm thinking primarily of Democrats and media here. I think they're so arrogant that they don't look at Trump as anything other than a badly molded piece of clay that has to be fixed and reshaped and reformed. And there isn't any interest whatsoever in actually finding out what the guy is or what makes him tick. The only objective is to shut him down as he ticks now.
We've had eight years of passivity with Barack Obama where whatever anybody around the world wanted to do to America, we just huffed and puffed and did nothing. And with Donald Trump, you want to do something to America, there's gonna be a price. And if you offend our sensibilities - we're not gonna put up with it. And he says and does what he does.
Donald Trump is not ideological. Now, to me, that means more than he's not just conservative or liberal. He knows what both things are. It's just not how he looks at the world, and it's not how he sees people.

The bottom feeders of the entertainment were never used as fundraisers for presidents of the United States. They were ignored. There was always a line. They were always there, and they were always who they were, and they always did what they did. The bottom feeders have now become the standard. That's what's different.
I was the first to tell people, my success doesn't depend on who wins elections, 'cause I can't control that. But I do have an agenda deconstructing the left, informing people what liberalism is, how to spot it, who liberals are, and all that, but still within the confines of the business that I'm in, in broadcasting.

Whatever your business - I don't care if it's radio, if it's Wall Street, if it's mainstream retail, whatever you do - do not hang around people who failed at it. Whatever you do, do not take guidance from people who failed at it - unless they, at some point, succeeded. Everybody who fails is bitter, and failures often blame everybody else.
Pessimism is easy. We all can do it. We don't need to read books on how to be pessimists. We don't need guidance on how to think negatively. But we do need guidance on how to think positively. People that write books on how to do that are multimillionaires.
I just don't need cable news. There's nothing that happens on cable news that I don't already know. I'm talking about just the acquisition of information, learning things. What is on cable TV is not that. Cable news isn't news. What is happening on cable news right now is a political assassination of not just Donald Trump, but of ideas and cultural mores that I believe in.
That's why I don't listen to other people on the radio, never have, 'cause I don't want to inadvertently, even unaware, end up repeating something somebody else has already said.
I don't think anywhere you go to get news is news anymore. It is commentary, but mostly it is the advancement of agenda.
I have not missed anything in terms of learning or being informed by not watching cable news. That's not the way it's supposed to be. The news is supposed to be telling you what you don't know. But it hasn't been that in I don't know how long.
One of the panelists on CNN, after the Hillary Clinton commencement speech, literally started crying, "I can't believe, I can't believe the election actually happened and she lost." I don't need to see that. I don't need to see a bunch of whimpering leftists who themselves are incapable of grounding themselves in reality, whining and moaning.
There is not a morsel of evidence backing up any of the claims or any of the narratives or any of the premises that make up today's news. There is not a morsel of evidence on anybody. There's not a morsel of evidence on Flynn! On Manafort! On Carter Page! There's no evidence on Trump! And yet the reporting goes on. Convicted of high crimes already without a trial. My question is, if you think this stuff is fake news, why watch it? There's no value in it. Unless you're entertained by it and you have boundaries and the stuff's not gonna affect your mood, fine and dandy. But if it's gonna frustrate you, make you mad, you're not missing anything turning it off.
I'm not encouraging massive boycotts of turning off the news. That's what the left does. I'm just telling you my own personal experience. I'm just in a much better mood. I'm in a good mood anyway, but I'm in a much better mood day in and out. I look at things entirely differently not watching that crap. It's all I'm telling you.
